Timeline and Budget updates

I started to work on this project in last semester, since back then I’ve made an idea, and during the winter holidays I collected data from kids in Russian School. It took me some time to finalize my idea about what am I planning to do and to make the whole project. And that’s why I am a bit concerned about the timeline. Should I write down all the steps of zine creations or just the ones I will need to do after the grant application? Should I keep the gaps in my calendar, or should I make a timeline like if I was spending all my time on the zine, or should I show it how it was, but just showing 1 or 2 weeks from each month, for example?

As for the budget, I’ve also faced some issues. Basically, my zine would be done before I will apply for the grant, and I’ve done it myself, so there is no need to ask for employees or something. All I really need is money for printing. And probably that’s all the chosen grant can give me. But, I thought about it more and decided to add some new requests. I will add money for translating the zine in English since I’ve been doing it so far in Russian and for materials I’ve used to collect data from the school. I’ve also discussed it with Gauhar, and we decided to participate in Prague Comics Art Festival, to promote and sell our zines, and maybe some other prints. I am not sure if my grant can spend money on that kind of stuff, but I have the right to ask, and they have the right to reject it, and I would be fine with it. Better to try, I guess. Plus, it is a good practice anyway. Secondly, I wanted to make an advertisement for their grant and library, so other artists at the festival would donate their zines. Also, I thought it might be a bit weird to ask them to pay for everything so I would have an opportunity to earn more money, and because my project is connected to child abuse topic, I decided it would be great to donate earned money to some funds, who help abused children. And, since my work probably should be paid as well, I guess I can make other prints, from my own budged, and try to sell them, to earn money.
